The Resilience Scholarship Fund will award a minimum of (5) $1000 scholarships in 2025. The scholarship will be awarded to high school seniors who have shown extraordinary resilience to a personal or family life challenge. Examples include family, personal, health, physical, emotional, mental health, and all other scenarios where resilience has been demonstrated.
Criteria

Students must be current high school seniors (expected graduation 2024) within one of the following eligible Ohio school districts: Oakwood City School District, Lakota Local School District, Kings Local School District, Centerville City School District and Kettering City School District

Students must plan to enroll in a post-secondary educational program (Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree, Vocational School, etc.)

Complete the electronic form by end of day March 7, 2025 for consideration. Winners will be contacted by late May.
Scholarships will be evaluated by a volunteer committee of current and previous JH/SH staff and students. Keep this in mind when completing the application. Applicant names will be removed from forms when reviewed for consideration.
